Good morning! We had a great turn out last night. I want to thank all of you for making the meeting a success. In the spirit of being completely transparent in what is going on I would like to share with all of you the results of last nights meeting.

As discussed in the meeting, a contract has not been signed with Roger Borgelt (lobbyist) yet, but we did agree to sign a contract with a cap set at $10k to start. We can revisit at a later date if we feel we need to go beyond this point. Last night we received $3520.00 in donations. What a great start!!!! We are still working on a way to receive online donations, and I will continue to update as we find out more information. We are working on possibly getting flyers out to all of our neighbors. We are aware there are many that may not use email or Facebook and we want to keep everyone informed. We may be looking for some volunteers in the near future. I handed out receipts to those who wanted one last night. There were a couple that did not get their receipts as they may have left after donating. I made receipts for these people and they are currently at the HOA office. For those of you that are mailing in checks we are happy to get you a receipt. You may ask for one at the HOA office or message me and I will make sure you get one.

I also want to reemphasize to everyone that we are hiring a lobbyist strictly to give ALL of Shady Hollow the right to vote on annexation. Right now about 15-20% are allowed a vote and the remaining 80% are not. We want to keep our community unified. There has been some confusion and questions regarding what is going on and we will continue to answer to the best of our ability and continue to learn more.
